Why do some people think that the US is doing better at handling measles than Canada?

That mostly comes from RFK, Jr, who believes he is doing a great job handling our measles outbreaks.
The US Is Not Doing Better at Handling Measles Than Canada
Of course, though, he isn’t.
Canada has done a much better job at handling measles than the United States.
While it is true that Canada has had more cases on a per capita basis, it also very true that Canada got their larger outbreaks under control much quicker than the United States.
In fact, there has only been six new measles cases in Canada in the past two months!
And that compares to 1,490 new cases in the United States during the same time period…
That means the United States had 248 times more measles cases as Canada, and per-capita, 30 times the new-case incidence.

So when you look at these charts, does it look like Secretary RFK, Jr is handling the measles outbreaks in the United States better than Canada?

No, it certainly doesn’t!

When it comes to vaccines, RFK Jr is a compulsive liar, just like Trumpty Dumpty who appointed him health secretary.
