You are likely correct. As soon as kids start dying, parents will realize they have been misled. But then again 300-000 to 400,000 Americans died unnecessarily from COVID due to refusal to be vaccinated and still, the majority of Americans refuse it.
This is where I have my concerns. The anti-vaxxers were able to convince people that 500 kids a year dying from covid-19 for 3-4 years in a row was not worthy of vaccinating children against Covid-19. I believe uptake in children for the covid-19 vaccine this year is around 10%. I fear the same techniques they used with the covid-19 vaccine are being successfully used to convince parents not to vaccinate when it comes to outbreaks of pertussis and measles and flu. There's a cruelty to these anti-vaxxers almost at the level of eugenics. And sadly too many people are believing this type of thought pattern.
