As most people know, Secretary RFK, Jr published his own childhood immunization schedule earlier this year.
An immunization schedule that was not evidence based and which put kids at increased risk to get several vaccine preventable diseases.

An immunization schedule that was ignored by most health professionals and parents, who instead continued to follow immunization schedules from the AAP and ACOG.
“These changes were not made by independent, subject matter experts – as historically has been the process. Instead, these recommendations were developed by political appointees pursuing your long-held ideological agenda that is unsupported by science. The press release from Acting Director O’Neill falsely claims that these changes will improve “clarity, adherence, and public confidence.” These arbitrary changes have and will continue to sow confusion, risk lives, and undermine public confidence in vaccines. We demand the science- based childhood immunization schedule be reinstated immediately.”

An immunization that was eventually removed from the CDC because of a court order following a lawsuit by the AAP working to protect our children.
“Off the top, I’m going to publish hard-to-find information that vaccine industry interests have forced the CDC to remove from its website.”

But just because it was removed, that doesn’t mean that the information is being hidden! After all, many people didn’t wait six months to write about RFK, Jr’s immunization schedule…
And most other people, especially if they are truly an investigative reporter, would likely know how to easily get content that was removed from a website!
“In the 1970s and 1980s, controversy erupted over the whole-cell pertussis vaccine causing rare but serious brain damage, such as encephalopathy or permanent brain injury. Health authorities say the controversy led parents to dial back on vaccination, and that led to major pertussis outbreaks, including perhaps a dozen deaths worldwide from the disease.”

An investigative reporter would likely know that none of the serious side effects that were blamed on the DPT vaccine were actually caused by the DPT vaccine. That was the big controversy! She was right about the pertussis outbreaks that followed a drop in vaccinations though.
“However, evidence shows acellular vaccines don’t last as long— maybe just 2-5 years. That’s one reason why we now can see pertussis outbreaks in vaccinated people.”

Sharyl Attkisson is also very wrong about the newer pertussis vaccines and who is most at risk of getting pertussis. Of course, the greatest risk, especially of severe, life-threatening pertussis infections is to those who are unvaccinated. If someone who is vaccinated does get pertussis, it is usually a very mild case, not the 100-day cough of someone who is unvaccinated.
But Attkisson doesn’t really shine until she tries to talk about the ‘heavy load’ that kids get from the traditional immunization schedule.
In trying to depict the current immunization schedule as giving a “heavy load,” and misrepresenting the antigen counts from the MMR and DTaP vaccines, she misses that:
kids used to get up to 3,217 different antigens from the smallpox (200 antigens), polio (15 antigens), and DPT (about 3,002 antigens) vaccines.
kids now get only 179 different antigens from all of the vaccines on the complete immunization schedule!
infants can get less aluminum from combination vaccines, like Vaxelis, than they got from the 1960 immunization schedule
What else?
“As we all know, autism rates have skyrocketed beyond belief, coinciding with the expansion of the vaccine schedule.”

She mentions vaccines and autism, but doesn’t mention any of the other things that are likely behind the rise in kids getting diagnosed with autism.
“Under Kennedy’s leadership, the CDC took groundbreaking action.”

Not surprisingly, Sharyl Attkisson is publishing anti-vaccine propaganda and is working hard to support RFK, Jr’s anti-vaccine agenda.
