Why are we talking about the Senators who had strokes before the COVID pandemic?

The usual suspects…
Let’s Talk About the Senators Who Had Strokes Before the COVID Pandemic
In this case, we are mostly talking about Peter McCullough, who is using Senator Chris Murphy’s stroke to push propaganda about some kind of ‘US Senate Premature Stroke Club after COVID Vaccination.’
Why?
Mostly because to these folks, you can blame everything that happens to someone on their COVID vaccines, from heart attacks and sudden death to cancer and strokes.
What don’t they tell you?

That all of these things also used to happen before the COVID pandemic.

‘Younger’ Senators had strokes before we had COVID vaccines.
In fact, if we look at the number of strokes since 2000 in younger Senators, we see:
2000 - 2014 - 3 cases: Paul Coverdell, Tim Johnson, Mark Kirk
2015 - 2026 - 3 cases: Ben Ray Luján, Chris Van Hollen, Chris Murphy
What about John Fetterman? He had his stroke while campaigning to become a Senator, so he doesn’t count…
And no big spike caused by COVID vaccines!
What else?
“No increased risk of ischemic stroke was found following bivalent mRNA COVID-19 vaccination, influenza vaccination, or their coadministration in this multi-site SCCS study. These findings are consistent with previous studies and underscore the importance of continued vaccine safety monitoring.”
Ischemic stroke after bivalent mRNA COVID-19 vaccination and influenza vaccination during the 2022-2023 season: a multi-site self-controlled case series study
Studies have found that COVID vaccines are not associated with an increased risk of stroke.
And you have yet another reason to stop listening to anti-vaccine influencers.
