Remember when anti-vaccine influencers posted about how they thought vaccines and vaccine-preventable diseases looked over the past four generations? Well, they are at it again!

Grandma would have been lucky to have been born at all in 1967, as that’s when rubella and congenital rubella outbreaks were sweeping across the world. Outbreaks that were eventually stopped by the rubella and MMR vaccines. Outbreaks that led to tens of thousands of miscarriages or stillbirths, newborn deaths, and babies born with congenital rubella syndrome.

This time, they have added another generation, but continue to inflate the vaccine count that kids get today...

But it’s still just propaganda.

Why?

Why do some folks want to go back to a generation when people were at risk to die from tetanus, measles, diphtheria, polio, pertussis, and other diseases that can now be prevented with vaccines that are safe, with few risks?

Mostly, it is because they are missing the fact that many people in those generations died from now-vaccine-preventable diseases!

So, each generation did get fewer vaccines, but it came with a price.

More disease.

More people getting sick.

More people dying.

Which simply makes it more anti-vaccine propaganda that you should ignore.
