Why Do Only 31% of Americans Think That Secretary RFK, Jr Recommends the Measles Vaccine?
Maybe it is because Secretary RFK, Jr recently gave the keynote address at the anti-vaccine Children’s Health Defense conference and told anti-vaccine folks that they have a friend in the White House…
Or possibly it’s because Secretary RFK, Jr voiced support for Donald Trump’s plan to split up the MMR vaccine.
It could even be because RFK, Jr has been pushing misinformation and propaganda about MMR vaccines for years now.
Mostly though, it is because while he has said a few times that a measles vaccine is effective, he hasn’t said the one thing that might get more people vaccinated and protected.
He hasn’t said the one thing that we expect from our Secretary of HHS.
He hasn’t said that the MMR is safe, effective, and necessary.
If he says that, maybe more people will believe that he is recommending that they get vaccinated.
If he says that, then maybe he will be able to get these measles outbreaks under control.
