Because they want you to think that measles is a mild disease…
So they post mortality charts going way back to the beginning of the 19th century, when deaths from all causes were very high.
Why?
Because it allows them to hide the relatively high measles death rate in the 1950s and early 1960s, just before the first measles vaccine was developed.
It allows them to hide the fact that 400 to nearly 700 people, mostly otherwise healthy children, were dying because they were sick with measles.
