Update on the Measles Outbreak in Utah
If you remember, a few weeks ago, we had posted about how there had not been any cases in some time and that might mean the end of the outbreak, except that measles was still showing up in wastewater!
Well, it turns out that we were right to be skeptical that their outbreak was ending.
They have added nine new cases to the Utah outbreak total, including three very recent cases.
And that means the longest measles outbreak in 35 years is going to last a little longer.
I am licensed in Utah and state law allows nurses (DNPs) to own and operate "medical" clinics without any oversight or collaboration with MDs. There is one such medical clinic that promotes their "medical" staff as "doctors". This clinic just so happens to be a Chidren's Health Defense aligned clinic that is especially proactive against vaccines. I have little doubt this clinic is contributing to the Measles outbreak in Utah. The public has no clue that the "doctors" in the clinic are actually nurses. The clinic offers a wide spectrum of primary care and "functional" medicine services.
