Gibraltar is a small overseas British territory with a population of just over 37,000 people on 2.3 square miles.
During the COVID pandemic, their small size allowed them to quickly vaccinate their entire adult population against COVID. This campaign ended in mid-March 20201, by the time of which about 80 to 90 people had already died.
But with everyone vaccinated, there were few additional deaths when the second COVID wave hit at the end of 2021!
That helped the life-expectancy rates quickly recover, as you can see in the post above by Becky with the Good Hair.
It confirms what studies have found - COVID caused extra deaths and COVID vaccines have been tied to a drop in the death rate, not excess deaths.
