Despite Because of all the times that Secretary RFK Jr has tried to gaslight the American public, downplaying the number of measles cases we were having, we very easily passed a long held record.
The Measles Year That Broke a Record
No, I’m not talking about the record for the largest single outbreak since the endemic spread of measles was eliminated.
That record fell when the Texas measles outbreak hit 663 cases, passing the previous record of 652 cases in New York in 2019.
I’m talking about the record for the most measles cases in a year.
That’s the other record we have hit this year.
We have now seen more measles cases this year, and it is still the beginning of July, than we had seen in one year since 1992!
As we continue to see more and more measles, we are now up to 1,284 cases of measles this year in 41 states and the District of Columbia.
What was the previous record?
There were 2,200 cases of measles in the United States in 1992. That was when large measles epidemics hit and hundreds of people died.
Will we pass that record next?
Probably…
The only real question is will it be this year or next.
Have we passed any other records this year?
Well, two unvaccinated children have died with measles this year.
Those kinds of verifiable measles deaths certainly don’t happen every year. Well, at least not officially.
How many more deaths will we be seeing if folks don’t take steps to help stop these outbreaks?
And now a death of a child in the UK.
