The placebo "story" that some anti-vaxxers use is one of the stupidest arguments anti-vax arguments that I've heard. It shows a mix of laziness (the folks who spout this haven't actually done any reference checking), or ignorance about the purpose and ethics of medical trials.
A quick look at this study from the 60s and it says they looked for reactions such as rash between day 6 and 15. The injection was so toxic it caused kids to have a rash or conjunctivitis or tonsillitis etc. Beyond day 15 they didn't look for any reaction other than titers which indicated there was still injury 4 to 6 weeks after injection. That isn't a full placebo controlled trial and it didn't indicate safety or efficacy:
"The increase is nothing more than the body's reaction to poisoning [adjuvants], when the
body is poisoned, holes are torn in the cells by these poisons and the cells are destroyed.
The body's reaction when cells break down is to form sealing substances (globulins), small
protein bodies that immediately expand in acidic environments, become flat and cross-link
with their hydrogen sulphide groups (in which energy is stored) with other proteins and
other things.
These cause blood to clot and wounds to heal and they seal our cells when toxins are
injected into the body. Even if you get a blow on a muscle, (forming a bruise) or a blow on
the kidney (especially sensitive), or the liver, there is an immediate increase in titer. The
body reacts to this by sealing the damaged cells and sealing growing cells"
Rubbish. These vaccines basically eliminated measles from first world countries. There were not huge side effects. I've read the studies from the US and England. They were clear - and I was infected with measles before the vaccines were available - measles was awful. My youngest siblings, my children and grandchildren have not had measles.
Do you understand what controlled experiments are? Seemingly not.
Where was this ridiculous quote drawn from? (I take it you have no first hand knowlege of biochemistry).
Stefan Lanka seems both ignorant and disgusting - he put up a challenge to pay a substantial "prize" (> $100K USD) to prove that the measles virus caused measles. That was proven, he refused to pay.
Arron Siri is a Death Maker for Americans, as is his leader Rfkjr.
