Ken Paxton Goes After Pediatricians for Vaccinating Kids
After a record-breaking measles outbreak in Texas in which two unvaccinated children died, Attorney General Ken Paxton (yes, that Ken Paxton!) unbelievably attacks pediatricians in the state who have been working to get kids vaccinated and protected.

That’s right, Ken Paxton buys into the anti-vaccine talking point that pediatricians are only vaccinating kids in order to make tons of money.
I guess he missed the point that pediatricians are generally the lowest paid medical providers…
What other anti-vaccine talking points is Ken Paxton pushing?
In his press release, we see many, including the myths that:
pediatricians give vaccines that are not proven to be safe or necessary - of course, vaccines are well studied and are safe and, as the Texas outbreak proved, are very necessary
children are forced to be vaccinated - mandates do not equal forced vaccination, especially in a state like Texas, where it is so easy to get an exemption
children receive over 70 shots - this is an inflated number used to scare parents
None are true.
“Attorney General Paxton is committed to furthering the momentum of parental choice in childhood vaccination decisions.”

Neither is his idea that these types of anti-vaccine influencers are pushing parental choice.
Parents can not make an informed choice when they are scared away from vaccinating their kids because of all of the propaganda and myths they are hearing.
Propaganda and myths about vaccines that are now, unfortunately, coming from inside our own government.
BTW, when are government folks in Texas going to tell us how much they spent to contain last year’s measles outbreak? And what are they doing to make sure it doesn’t happen again - I mean besides harassing pediatricians and scaring parents…

Paxton is as craven as they come. He couldn't care less about Texans, or about the actual effects of his crusades for clout.
How did his Tylenol lawsuit go? Now that there is a new meta analysis concluded the opposite of what RFK claimed, will Paxton withdraw his Tylenol suit?
