Is Del Bigtree Excited That More Women Will Get Cervical Cancer?
It’s hard to think that anyone would be excited about news that sales of Gardasil, the vaccine that prevents cervical cancer, are down.
But then, there is Del Bigtree who we know has said that he wants his own unvaccinated kids to get sick with measles and chickenpox, etc.
Is Del Bigtree Excited That More Women Will Get Cervical Cancer?
And cervical cancer?
Yes, Del Bigtree seems almost giddy when talking about a drop in vaccine sales, including RSV, flu vaccines, Shingles, and COVID vaccines.
And Gardasil?
Surprisingly, sales of Gardasil were actually up in the United States last year, by 9%!
That’s something that Jefferey Jaxen, Del Bigtree’s investigative journalist, didn’t mention in his ‘amazing reporting’…
And many of the other vaccines, like RSV, were down because of competition. Remember that in 2025, a third RSV vaccine from Moderna was licensed, so it is not surprising that Pfizer and GSK might have lost some sales. Also, ACIP narrowed the recommendation for which seniors should get a RSV vaccine
Worldwide, Del Bigtree is right that many of these vaccines are not being used as often as they once were.
They even highlight the closing of a North Carolina vaccine manufacturing plant that makes Gardasil.
“As for Gardasil specifically, Merck has long benefited from the shot’s strong presence in the Chinese market, but a sharp plunge in demand for the vaccine there has swiftly blunted its trajectory. While the shot remained Merck’s No. 2 product by sales in 2025, Gardasil is likely to drop in the firm’s sales rankings over time as new growth drivers gain steam.
The Gardasil decline in China kicked off in earnest in August of 2024, and even as sales of the shot have trended upward in other geographies, Merck has been unable to right the course in the key Asian market.”

Why did it close?
Mostly because of zero sales of Gardasil to China…
“Starting 10 November 2025, free, two doses of bivalent HPV vaccination (administered 6 months apart) will be rolled out across China for girls born on or after 10 November 2011 who have reached 13 years of age. This marks a historic milestone in the country’s efforts to prevent cervical cancer and promote women’s health.”

And that’s only because they started using an alternative to Gardasil!
What about the drop in sales of Gardasil to Japan that Del Bigtree talks about?
“A catch-up vaccination program was established to ensure fair vaccination opportunities to those who did not receive the vaccination during their eligibility period when the vaccination was not actively recommended. As such, women born between April 2, 1997 and April 1, 2008 are eligible to receive the vaccination with the cost covered by public expense until March 2025.”

The ‘drop’ was only relative to a surge in sales the previous year as they ordered a lot of extra Gardasil vaccine to get everyone caught up who wasn’t vaccinated when they were younger, especially those not vaccinated during their short ‘ban’ on the HPV vaccine!
For some reason, Jefferey Jaxen didn’t include that little tidbit of information in his investigative reporting…
Also, global market vaccine sales had been rising recently, with the exception, of course, of COVID vaccines.
What about vaccine sales in 2025?
Other vaccine manufacturers have voiced concerns, but nothing like the crash that Del Bigtree says is going on.
“In disclosing annual earnings Thursday, Sanofi revealed that its fourth-quarter vaccine sales declined 2.5% and that it anticipates “slightly negative growth” for its shots in 2026. Those calculations came despite better-than-expected global performance for its flu shots.”

Lastly, while they mention things that happen before RFK Jr took over our public health system, it is very important to remember that RFK Jr started to push his propaganda about vaccines long before that.
