How to Host a Propaganda Filled Health Policy Symposium
Stanford Health Policy is putting on a masterclass workshop!
Have you ever wanted to host a propaganda filled health policy symposium?

Stanford Health Policy is putting on a masterclass workshop!
Their upcoming symposium, Pandemic Policy: Planning the Future, Assessing the Past, features “some of the very worst COVID minimizers and contrarians!”

These are the folks that helped sow confusion during the pandemic and almost certainly made things worse.
You see, in addition to rabid anti-vaccine influencers and folks who don’t even believe that viruses are a thing, we have had to put up with these types of COVID-19 contrarian doctors.
These are the folks who think that they know more than everyone at the CDC, FDA, AAP, etc., and at best confuse people with their own brand of advice, and at worst cause real harm when they are wrong.
“Bringing together esteemed academics, public health practitioners, journalists, and government officials from all sides of the COVID-19 policy debate in conversation with one another with an eye toward reforms in science and public health to better serve the public.”
Pandemic Policy: Planning the Future, Assessing the Past
Are these esteemed “experts” going to apologize for all of the damage they did and give tips on how we could have done a better job of combatting their misinformation?
In addition to Jenin Younes, featured speakers at this Stanford conference include:
Monica Gandhi - she said that vaccines work well enough against COVID variants so that we wouldn’t have further surges back in May 2021. We did… Monica Gandhi “unleashed a firehose of poor predictions and bogus statistics throughout the pandemic.”
Marty Makary - he said that most of the country was at herd immunity levels of protection in May 2021. Marty Makary was also critical of COVID shots for children and has spread misleading or unsupported information about COVID.
Vinay Prasad - he minimizes the risk of COVID to children and overstates the risks of childhood COVID vaccines and says we should treat COVID like the flu. Vinay Prasad is best described as “a useful idiot for antivax propagandists.”
Anders Tegnell - he said Sweden had reached herd immunity levels of infection in April 2020… They had not.
Sunetra Gupta - one of the authors of the Great Barrington Declaration, she also said that flu is more dangerous than COVID and said we had already reached herd immunity levels of protection by the summer of 2020…
Scott Atlas - he suggested letting everyone who is not at high risk get infected with COVID to create herd immunity levels of infection. Health experts have stated that Scott Atlas was misleading President Trump during the COVID pandemic.
John Ioannidis - he said we should be optimistic about COVID in July 2020 and that our risk from COVID was extremely low. His early predictions were used by many people to downplay how serious COVID could and would become.
It is a who’s who of controversial speakers that the media often turned to for interviews, but tragically, they were often wrong in their predictions and advice.’

It’s a list of ‘experts’ that folks should not be listening to…
