The idea that COVID vaccines could make you magnetic was certainly one of the more ridiculous conspiracy theories that came out of the pandemic.

“I started to ask some patients to do what I termed a “magnet test.” I came up with more positive cases. Never will I forget the husband and wife, both unvaccinated, but both having had countless Covid nasal swabs, who came to my office in Ithaca, NY. Each of them had eight magnets strongly pull out of my fingers to adhere to there foreheads, cheekbones, and both sides of their noses. Holy smoke! What was in those nasal swabs!?!”

And while it may have also been among the least harmful, it unfortunately, has not gone away.

Some folks might even think that their beliefs in vaccine induced magneticism have been confirmed with the ‘breaking news’ of a study that has come out of Finland.

Of course, those who actually take the time to read the study will be left disappointed.

The study is simply a case report.

A case report with only six patients.

Six patients who had previously filled out a biased survey to identify people who believed that they had COVID vaccine side effects.

“Additionally, her child, a 10-year-old boy who did not receive COVID-19 injections, started to experience the same phenomenon (Figure 1G). The child, like his mother, became magnetic in the sternum area, attaching ferromagnetic object as heavy as 25 g.”

Well, seven patients if you include the unvaccinated child of one of the patients who also became magnetic!

What caused that?

Shedding?

“Several months after the injection, this phenomenon can occur. This implies that this phenomenon is not directly caused by some undeclared compounds per se that are present in the vials. Most likely, being injected into the body, external genetic information in the form of DNA plasmids or modified mRNAs facilitates the translation of proteins with ferromagnetic properties or is related to the entrapment of endogenous iron and its re-compartmentalization of iron in the body.”

Or more likely, since it happens so often in folks who weren’t vaccinated, how about the idea that this isn’t a real thing?

James Randi showed how he could get rid of the magnetic powers of people by applying a little baby powder on their skin. He did it on TV to a man who had just demonstrated his powers to stick large metal objects to his chest!

In fact, it’s a thing that was disproven on TV long ago, well before we had COVID vaccines!

Before you jump on this fad again and try sticking metal objects or magnets to your body, try sticking a small, non-metallic object to your head, chest, or arm. Does it stick? Or put a compass next to your skin and see if it moves… You could also put a little baby powder on your skin before sticking the metal objects to your body (the James Randi debunk). Or ask yourself why the metal/magnets only stick to areas of skin that have little or no hair (being magnetic shouldn’t be affected by a little hair)…

This “vaccine induced magnetism” idea does prove one thing.

Sherri Tenpenny testified that COVID shots were magnetizing people, allowing them to stick spoons and forks all over their bodies, and interfacing with 5G towers.

It proves that anyone can get anything published in a journal these days and that anti-vaccine influencers will believe anything, as long as it reinforces their idea that vaccines are bad.

It’s also an opportunity to be more skeptical though, and see through the propaganda that too often scares people away from getting vaccinated!
