In this case, Aaron Siri is telling folks that the CDC has given back all the data from the Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD) to the organizations that collected it.
Data that the CDC doesn’t actually own.
“The DDM allows each MCO to assemble and maintain its computerized data files on a secure server at the site rather than transferring data to the CDC, and ownership of the data is retained by the MCOs. Data required for specific VSD studies are transferred between the CDC and the VSD sites by using 2 secure methods known as the “indirect” and “direct” methods.”

Data that Aaron Siri wanted to use to investigate the causes of autism and to do a study on vaccinated vs. unvaccinated kids.

And while they often allow researchers to use the data, there is a very good reason that they might not let RFK Jr’s researchers near the data!

David Geier had already been warned about misusing the Vaccine Safety Datalink database, with actions that could have created the possibility for a breach in patient confidentiality!
Today in a cabinet meeting, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. promised that “by September, we will know what has caused the autism epidemic and we will be able to eliminate those exposures.” This alarming claim is untrue, impossible, and ableist.

Plus, many people think that with his promise of quick results, in just five months, they already know what the results will be of their studies.
They will “cook the books” and find a way to prove that vaccines are bad.
Hopefully, not being allowed to abuse the VSD will slow them down…
