About that AAP vs RFK Jr. Lawsuit
RFK Jr has been picking a fight with pediatricians for some time now…

I guess he figured we were too nice to fight back.
“Don’t mistake my kindness for weakness…”
He was wrong!
About that AAP vs RFK Jr. Lawsuit
Which likely doesn’t surprise anyone.
RFK Jr. is wrong about most things…
"This ruling is a momentous step toward restoring science-based vaccine policymaking. The judge recognized that the actions of Secretary Kennedy and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices are not grounded in science and that they are destructive. We are thrilled that the court has discarded the baseless vaccine schedule changes made by Secretary Kennedy and is blocking the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices from doing further damage to vaccine policy."
Richard Hughes IV
Epstein Becker Green, Attorney for Plaintiffs
RFK Jr is especially wrong about vaccines…
"Today's ruling is an historic and welcomed outcome for children, families, pediatricians and communities across the United States. For many years the American Academy of Pediatrics, in collaboration with partners in the federal government, recommended a schedule of immunizations to promote children's health and development. Today's ruling marks an important step toward restoring scientific decision-making that is at the heart of that partnership. Protecting the health and safety of America's children is what prompted the AAP to petition the court for this decision from the outset and that goal will remain our guiding principle."
Andrew P. Racine, MD, PhD, FAAP
President of the American Academy of Pediatrics
And this ruling is a good step towards reversing his anti-vaccine agenda.
"Today's court ruling is an important step toward protecting Americans' access to life-saving vaccines. Infectious diseases doctors remain hopeful that adherence to a scientifically valid process in determining vaccine policy ultimately will be restored. Secretary Kennedy has caused needless confusion and distrust in vaccine guidance and unless stopped, his actions will continue to result in preventable disease outbreaks."
Ronald G. Nahass, MD, MHCM, FIDSA,
President of the Infectious Diseases Society of America
And an important step towards protecting our children!
“Today’s ruling is an important step toward protecting the health of Americans, particularly children. Vaccines are one of the safest and most effective tools in medicine, and strong, science-based immunization policies save lives.
The American Medical Association will continue to stand firmly with physicians, scientists, and public health experts to ensure vaccine recommendations remain grounded in the best available medical evidence and focused on protecting patients.”
David H. Aizuss, MD
Board Chair, American Medical Association
And saving lives.
“The changes to ACIP's recommendations and the schedule were arbitrary and capricious. They were not explained, did not have a plausible connection between facts and decision, and ignored major issues. This injunction prevents harm to public health and individuals in the U.S., saving lives and reducing the damage Kennedy has been doing.”

Of course, there is still some more work to be done.
“RFK Jr. must step down as head of HHS. His wanton disregard for the health of children can no longer be tolerated. Enough.”
Paul Offit on RFK Jr.’s War on Children
After all, many of us still remember what RFK Jr. did to Samoa…

Pediatricians win Round 1 in vaccine fight, but damage has been done

I was pleased to see the judge state clearly that the ACIP members are UNQUALIFIED, were not vetted correctly and appointed improperly. Had their cedentials been vetted, serious irregularities would have been found inclulding fabricated content n some the CVs, embellish and exaggerated accomplishments and multiole false statements. A proper vetting would have discovered these FAKE experts.
