After all, this is the guy who has helped hollow-out the CDC and our immunization schedule.

Secretary RFK, Jr Has No Idea What Prevention Looks Like

And yet, here he is, trying to take credit for helping prevent congenital syphilis by investing $4 million on syphilis testing.

The problem?

“Through the new initiative, HHS is directing funding to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of STD Prevention to increase access to point-of-care testing and treatment. HHS is providing approximately $3.25 million in supplemental awards to recipients of CDC’s Strengthening STD Prevention and Control for Health Departments cooperative agreement (PS19-1901) to expand access to syphilis point-of-care testing and link patients to care from August 2026 through February 2027. Awarded jurisdictions have been identified as experiencing a high burden of syphilis and congenital syphilis. Remaining funding will support national partners providing technical assistance and implementation support.”

Although he calls it a new initiative, he is basically just funding CDC’s Strengthening STD Prevention and Control for Health Departments.

A program that was hurt by the DOGE/Kennedy cuts!

“Since January 2025, the new United States (US) administration has significantly altered the global health landscape through a series of policy changes and funding cuts. This includes the suspension of foreign aid assistance and the withdrawal of the US from the World Health Organization (WHO). These actions have halted life-saving work across the globe and have been challenged by multiple lawsuits. Additional domestic funding cuts to the US Department of Health and Human Services, including the National Institutes of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have threatened invaluable research and health promotion programs, globally. These policy and funding shifts have had – and will continue to have – drastic impacts on the field of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), threatening all research, development, and prevention efforts.”

Why STI Funding Matters

Specificially, we lost:

• the STD Laboratory Reference & Research Branch (SLRRB), which did national laboratory surveillance/research for syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia - while the lab was restored, it isn’t clear that all employees returned

• the Disease Intervention & Response Branch (DIRB), whose field experts embedded with health departments and investigated and responsed to outbreaks

• STI research funding

• CDC workers performing STI surveillance and disease-intervention activities, including many who worked with state and local public health departments

So, like much of what RFK, Jr does, he thinks he is doing a great job, but overall, he is really just making things worse.

“Think of them as the CDC’s zombie programs — they appear to be alive, at least according to legislation and congressional appropriations. But functionally they are dead or nearly dead, because the CDC experts who did the work were laid off by President Donald Trump’s administration or remain on leave — paid but not allowed to do their jobs.”

After all, it isn’t even clear how many workers are left to do anything with the money he has allocated to rapid testing to prevent congenital syphilis.

Lastly, CDC's dedicated STI budget was cut by $10 million in FY2026, from $174.31 million to $164.31 million—a 5.7% reduction.

And since RFK, Jr may have redirected an already-funded STI prevention appropriation, this $4 million likely doesn’t increase the 2026 budget…

What else?

Funding for STI prevention will be cut even further in 2027, with a 45% reduction in staffing capacity!

Bottom line - if RFK, Jr is truly interested in STI prevention, he would restore all public health funding, all departments, and all employees who were working hard to prevent and treat STIs and other public health problems.

She has also made a name for herself on how she is very wrong in believing that there was an 80% miscarriage rate in the Pfizer COVID vaccine study.

Naomi Wolf Digs in on Her 80% Miscarriage Rate Claim

And now, after years of doubling down on her claim, Naomi Wolf continues to dig in, pushing the idea that she is right and that COVID vaccines do have an 80% miscarriage rate.

Of course, she is still wrong, as many people have explained.

Why?

She took the number of miscarriages (23) in the study and divided that by the number of pregnancies with a known, recorded outcome (28) and got her 80% rate.

What did she leave out?

She left out that there were 270 pregnant women in the trial!

And she left out that her math doesn’t work!

You can’t simply remove those other 238 pregnant women (some had other reported outcomes…) who were in the trial from your calculations.

And that’s easy to see when you look at all of the other clinical trials that have been done, which confirm that COVID vaccines are not associated with miscarriages.

There is no 80% miscarriage rate.

Naomi Wolf’s Math Problem

Not convinced yet?

Think about it this way…

Consider a school with 270 students.

At the end of the year, someone gets the records for only 28 students, of whom 23 had failed a class. You have no idea what happened to the other 242 students.

You then try to tell the world that “82% of the school’s students failed.”

That’s wrong, though. All you can really say is, “23 of the 28 students for whom I have an outcome failed.”

You cannot determine the school’s failure rate until you know what happened to the missing students.

And that’s just what Naomi Wolf did!

She turned the 23 miscarriages among a small subset of patients in the study for which there was a known outcome into a statement about all of the pregnancies in the study.

Even More Evidence that Naomi Wolf is Wrong

If you are still not convinced, know that millions of pregnant women received a Pfizer COVID vaccine, and if her 80% miscarriage rate were true, that would have greatly affected the birth rate since the COVID pandemic began.

And, of course, it didn’t.

COVID vaccines were found to be safe for pregnant women, and as an added bonus, they protected newborn babies and younger infants from severe COVID infections until they were old enough to get their own vaccines!

They were mostly responding to the research of Didier Raoult, who had published papers saying hydroxychloroquine, especially when used with azithromycin, was an effective treatment for COVID.

Which wasn’t a surprise to most people…

Still, Didier Raoult and his team continued to tout papers saying it did.

Papers that would soon be found “to have used questionable and concerning ethics approval processes across hundreds of studies.”

And what were the consequences?

• dozens of his papers have been retracted, and hundreds more have been labeled as potentially having serious problems with an “Expression of Concern”

• Didier Raoult still can’t practice medicine in France, as he is still under a two year ban

• a criminal investigation of his research is still underway, concerning the use of forged documents and doing research without proper justification or authorization

More seriously though, millions of people were unnecessarily treated with hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin!

And many of the people who support Didier Raoult are still in charge of our public health systems…

As proof, he has posted that the CDC has mobilized hundreds of CDC-trained disease detectives!

How Is the CDC Responding to the DRC Ebola Outbreak?

That should be reassuring, right?

After all, the CDC disease detectives of the Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) are famous for investigating and helping stop outbreaks since it was formed in 1951.

The thing is though, in addition to training disease detectives, the CDC used to actually send its disease detectives to help with these kinds of large outbreaks and epidemics.

And now, instead of those CDC disease detectives working to help control the DRC ebola outbreak, the CDC is relying on ‘hundreds of CDC-trained disease detectives.’

It is a much smaller response, despite it being a larger outbreak.

A smaller response without a publicly identified EIS deployment.

A smaller response without a publicly identified EIS deployment despite this being an intense Ebola outbreak that is spreading faster than previous outbreaks, with over 5,000 confirmed cases and nearly 2,400 deaths since May.

An outbreak that has spread to six DRC provinces and across the border into Uganda.

“I'm very concerned about the ability of the U.S. government, especially the CDC, to respond to emergencies like this. The CDC has been hollowed out.”

Why Hasn’t Moderna Posted the New mRNA Flu Vaccine Clinical Trial Data?

Apparently, he was upset that he couldn’t find the results of the last mRNA flu vaccine’s clinical trial, even though:

• the results of the other mRNA flu vaccine clinical trials have already been posted on the clinicaltrials.gov site

• the results of all of the clinical trials are available in the BLA Clinical Review Memorandum

• the results of the clinical trial Retsef Levi is specifically asking about were published in the study, Efficacy and Safety of an mRNA Seasonal Influenza Vaccine in Adults, in the New England Journal of Medicine in May

Still, it is important to look at the clinicaltrials.gov data, as it will have some different information, especially about prespecified outcomes and adverse events.

But that doesn’t mean that there is any conspiracy or that they are hiding any data.

After all, the results aren’t even due to be posted yet!

And instead of filing the results, Moderna could still file a certification of delay. That allows a delay of up to two years if a manufacturer intends to continue development on a vaccine that was not yet FDA approved when the study was completed.

This time, they want you to think that he knew about and was concealing flaws in the COVID vaccine safety monitoring systems.

The Woodcock Email to Fauci Reveals How Anti-Vaccine Propaganda is Created

How are they doing that?

This time Senator Ron Johnson and Senator Rand Paul want you to think that an email exchange between Dr. Janet Woodcock, then-acting Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, and Anthony Fauci means that she was sounding some kind of alarm about undetected problems.

Instead, it is obvious that the email exchange seems to be about ‘psychological reactions’ and not true adverse reactions.

These ‘psychological reactions’ are the types of reactions and problems that aren’t usually detected by VAERS or other safety systems.

These ‘psychological reactions’ are the types of reactions and problems that are expected when hundreds of millions of people get a vaccine!

And the obvious reason that industry would not support research on these folks?

It’s not because they want to hide anything, as anti-vaccine influencers want you to believe.

It is simply because these are psychological reactions and are not caused by their vaccines!

Also, the idea that the problems that would fester and come back to bite us later is not that more folks would have reactions to the COVID vaccines, but rather that more people would blame the COVID vaccines for their problems, leading to an increase in vaccine hesitancy.

So basically, this is another dud from Sens. Johnson and Paul - just like those texts from Anthony Fauci’s phone.

It’s just more propaganda that is being laundered across the social media accounts of anti-vaccine influencers.

What about the idea that Woodcock’s email justifies MIT Professor Retsef Levi’s vaccine injury plans?

They don’t, after all, Levi’s plans were all blocked.

And while one person was pushing for expansion of the existing surveillance systems using a new algorithm for VAERS, many of the signals they supposedly could uncover in VAERS weren’t ever found in subsequent studies!

Oh, and Studies Were Done!

Lastly, folks should know that studies were actually done on the types of reactions and problems that Janet Woodcock was talking about!

For example, studies found substantial rates of adverse events in the placebo arms of the COVID vaccine studies, including one with an inert placebo.

“We found that 76.0% of systemic AEs and 24.3% of local AEs after the first vaccination could be attributed to nocebo responses.”

Researchers have looked to see if COVID vaccines have caused unexpected, long-term reactions, and except for a few rare conditions, they don’t.

So, yet again, there is no smoking gun in the email that Senators Ron Johnson and Rand Paul have released.

Instead, all we have is more fuel for anti-vaccine influencers to fan the flame of vaccine hesitancy and scare more people away from getting vaccinated and protected.

Splitting Up Vaccines Does Not Reduce Serious Side Effects

Now it is easy to see why many people believe this little bit of misinformation so easily though.

After all, if two vaccines can each cause you to have a high fever, then you are greatly increasing the chance that you will have a fever if you get them at the same time, than if you got them on separate days, right?

Well, no.

That’s not how that works…

And when getting vaccines together does increase your risk of side effects, we typically know about it! Like when the combination MMR-V led to a small increase in febrile seizures for infants.

In most cases though, the chance of having a high fever or other serious side effect is actually going to be the same; you are just splitting the risk over a few different days.

The Benefits of Combining Vaccines

And serious side effects, which are uncommon anyway, are rarely less when you split them up, getting fewer vaccines than scheduled at one visit. All you end up with is a delay in getting protected…

And that’s why, instead of splitting up vaccines, we have actually been combining more and more vaccines into just one injection!

One injection, which can mean less pain for your child!

What else?

Combination vaccines typically have smaller volumes and less of some of their ingredients, like aluminum, than if you got the vaccines separately.

How do we know all of this?

Vaccines are Tested Together

Despite what you have likely been hearing from anti-vaccine influencers, vaccines are studied with other vaccines, including:

• HPV9 with Tdap and Meningococcal vaccines - giving all three vaccines at the same time led to no vaccine-related serious adverse events.

• DTaP-HepB-IPV with PCV and Hib - no increase in high fever with the combination fever, which was low in all groups getting vaccinated.

• DTaP-IPV-Hib - studies found no clinically important differences in the safety or immunologic profiles for the combination vaccine vs. giving the vaccines separately

Also, in developing the MMR vaccine, studies were done on combination vaccines vs. giving the separate components, including mumps+rubella, measles+rubella, and measles+mumps.

Not surprisingly, they all found that the combination vaccines did not cause “significant clinical reaction.”

What else?

Vaccines today, have far fewer antigens than they did in the past!

For example, while the original DPT vaccine had 3,002 antigens in each shot, children today only get a small fraction of that from all doses of vaccines they get on the immunization schedule!

The Risks of Splitting Up Vaccines

So, now you know vaccines are already tested together and show no increased risk of serious side effects.

You should also know about the risks of splitting up and delaying vaccines, as Donald Trump talks about in his plan for kids to “separate vaccinations at separate visits.”

A plan that will simply delay how long it will take for your kids to get vaccinated and protected and could leave them susceptible to life-threatening diseases, like pertussis, Hib meningitis, pneumococcal meningitis, and of course, measles.

“Children whose parents delay vaccinations may be at increased risk of not receiving all recommended vaccine doses by 19 months of age and are more vulnerable to vaccine-preventable diseases.”

In this new interview, Secretary RFK, Jr said that :

• “It looks at the timeline for when the autism epidemic began and it’s a synthesis of essentially a matter of view of all the existing science and it very strongly supports the President.” - LIE - there is no science that supports the actions of RFK, JR or Donald Trump and there are much better explanations for why we are seeing more autism without blaming vaccines.

• “they have a single vaccine in Japan and it works for that population” - LIE - while they do have single measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines in Japan, splitting up the combined MMR has not worked well for them, leading to more cases of measles, mumps, and rubella!

• “We’re using the same science that the European nations use. We give right now in our country more vaccines than any country in the world.” - LIE - we do not give more vaccines than any country in the world.

• “My kids got 94 doses of about 17 vaccines,” which is up from the 72 doses he said his kids got during interviews in 2023! - LIE - kids do not get 94 or 72 doses of vaccines. Let’s see their immunization records!

• “Well, I suppose if you add up 94 vaccines, it’s a lot of, it’s a big volume” in defending Donald Trump’s claim that kids get a ‘bottle of soda.’ - LIE - it’s not 94 vaccines, but even if you did add up all of the vaccines a child could get on the AAP immunization schedule, it wouldn’t be the size of a bottle of soda - they wouldn’t even fit a few tablespoons! It’s a very small volume…

• “We are in terms of chronic disease the sickest country in the world. They are not things that could be open to interpretation.

The usual suspects…

The History of the MMR Vaccine

First of all, know that the combined MMR vaccine is safe and effective, with few side effects, so there is no good reason to split it up again.

Yes, again!

The separate measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines were combined to form the MMR vaccine way back in 1971.

And this MMR vaccine was updated in 1978 - to MMR-II (Merck), by switching out the rubella component to one that had fewer side effects.

Lastly, we recently got another MMR vaccine, Priorix (GSK), which was approved in the United States in 2022, but had been used in other countries since 1997.

So we have two MMR vaccines that have been safely given to hundreds of millions of children over the years, just in the United States.

Oh, and the separate measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines were discontinued in the United States in 2009, mostly because they were no longer being used.

What else?

Few other countries use separate measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines!

While they are still made in Japan, over 95% of Japanese kids now get the combined measles and rubella vaccines.

Even in Japan though, there is once again a shift to getting a combined MMR vaccine, after they stopped using the MMR vaccine in 1993 because the mumps component (different from the one in our MMR) was associated with aseptic meningitis.

Why?

The only effect of splitting up the MMR was that kids got more measles, mumps, and rubella, including:

• endemic measles cases through 2015, more than 15 years after it was controlled in the United States!

• regular outbreaks of mumps, with associated complications, including meningitis, orchitis, arthritis, myocarditis, nephritis, polyneuropathy, hepatitis, and oophoritis.

• a rubella outbreak in 2012–2013 that caused about 15,000 cases of rubella and 43 cases of congenital rubella syndrome.

And while separate measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines are also available in China, nearly all kids get the combined MMR vaccine.

So Donald Trump’s gold standard plan to split up the MMR is something that very few other countries are doing…

The Case Against Splitting Up the MMR Vaccine

That no one else is doing it isn’t a good reason to not do it though.

What are good reasons?

How about the simple fact that there is no evidence that it’s necessary?

After all, there was autism before we had the MMR vaccine, there is autism in countries that don’t use the MMR vaccine, and there are unvaccinated kids who are autistic.

It is ridiculous to think that splitting up the MMR vaccine and getting the separate measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines and separate visits will change autism rates.

It is especially ridiculous when there are much better explanations for why we have been seeing more autistic kids over the years, like the change in DSM criteria, new laws that mandate kids with disabilities to be allowed to go to public schools, more screening, and increased awareneness.

Things that anti-vaccine influencers never mention, always focusing on vaccines.

Again though, like most of the world, we don’t even have separate measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines.

But can’t we just start making them again?

Uh, well, it’s not as easy as flipping a switch, putting in an order, and getting your separate vaccines the next day, or next month, or next year!

There would have to be new clinical trials, which would be difficult, as rates of rubella and mumps are fairly low, thanks to most people getting vaccinated and protected.

And even with record setting cases of measles, it would likely still be hard to do a trial that didn’t rely on immunobridging, which RFK, Jr is against.

Mostly though, splitting up the MMR vaccine and making kids get only one vaccine at a time will greatly delay how long it takes to get kids vaccinated and protected.

It also increases the number of injections that will be required and increases the chance that doses will be missed.

Why?

All because Donald Trump and Secretary RFK, Jr are reviving a fraudulent claim originally made by Andy Wakefield over 25 years ago...

And then there is the fact that they are doing all of this in the setting of record-breaking cases of measles!

And in this case, the usual suspect is none other than Robert Redfield, the former CDC director during the COVID pandemic.

So, why does he think it was a mistake to vaccinate pregnant women with the COVID vaccine?

Probably because those seem to be the talking points that anti-vaccine influencers have been given this week…

All week, they have been laundering the idea that COVID vaccines are associated with miscarriages across their social media accounts, websites, and right-wing news channels.

And they continue to push this misinformation despite being corrected over and over again.

What else?

They miss the simple fact that vaccinating pregnant women also protected their babies once they were born, a group that was at high risk for severe COVID infections!

Infants who were too young to be vaccinated and who could only be protected when we vaccinated pregnant women.

From the whole 82% lie to a new bit of propaganda from Maryanne Demasi, who thinks she is on to something because the NEJM had posted a correction to one of the first COVID vaccine safety studies.

A correction that was long ago explained away!

Maryanne Demasai promotes early studies in mice and a non-peer-reviewed preprint as a published study!

A preprint co-authored by known anti-vaccine influencers!

All the while, she ignores all the studies that found that COVID vaccines in pregnancy did not increase miscarriages.

Why?

That’s how anti-vaccine propaganda works!

82% of Women Who Got the COVID Vaccine in Their First or Second Trimester Did Not Have a Miscarriage

Sadly, in this case, the misinformation is coming from a member of Congress.

In an interview on Fox Business, Rep. Lisa McClain (Michigan, R) not only said that 82% of women who got the vaccine in their first or second trimester had a miscarriage, she claimed that the information came from The New England Journal of Medicine.

Of course, it didn’t.

The 82% claim actually came from an anti-vaccine influencer who misinterpreted a study that was in The New England Journal of Medicine.

A claim that was debunked when it first came out four years ago and has been repeatedly debunked every other time it resurfaces.

A claim that Rep. Ron Johnson included in his recent attacks on Anthony Fauci.

A claim that really makes no sense, as all studies have shown that COVID vaccines are not associated with any increased of miscarriage.

It’s disgusting and should be criminal that anti-vaccine influencers can continue to promote this kind of propaganda that scares people away from getting vaccinated and protected.

David Wolfe and Stephanie Seneff are recycling some older anti-vaccine misinformation about the Pfizer COVID vaccines.

That’s right.

In addition to calling it a bio-weapon, David Wolfe wants you to think that the Pfizer COVID vaccine has nine single-spaced pages of side effects.

So, are these nine pages of side effects in the vaccine insert???

Nope.

Not surprisingly, the original Pfizer COVID vaccine EUA listed the most common side effects in just a few paragraphs!

With more details in a few more pages in the Full EUA Prescribing Information, including solicited and unsolicited side effects in the vaccine’s clinical trials.

So then what are the nine pages of side effects that David Wolfe is posting about?

It is a list of possible side effects.

“The document listed all adverse effects reported and recorded after vaccination in addition to a list of pre-specified medical problems that could theoretically be attributed to the vaccination.”

Did the FDA Botch the Review of Moderna’s mRNA Flu Vaccine

And because that’s one of the many anti-vaccine talking points that anti-vaccine influencers are using to try to scare people away from getting vaccinated and protected with this new flu vaccine.

They seem to think that researchers used tricks to hide safety signals and get the vaccine approved.

“In an appendix to its own briefing document, the FDA acknowledged that differences between the trials could produce safety variations “not fully captured by pooled analyses”—but proceeded anyway.”

I mean, if pooling safety data was a “hidden trick,” then why was it mentioned so many times in the FDA Briefing Document?

And why is it considered to be an important way to help provide a more powerful analysis of vaccine safety, providing you with a larger sample size, allowing you to detect rare adverse events?

More importantly, Maryanne Demasi and others hide the simple fact that the overwhelming majority of systemic adverse reactions were not thought to be caused by the vaccine!

Take, for example, the one death that Maryanne Demasi says was “caused by the vaccine.”

It likely was not, in fact, caused by the vaccine!

“One death occurring on Day 2 in Study P303 Part A — in a 76-year-old female with significant cardiac history [prior coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), atrial fibrillation, type 2 diabetes mellitus] — was assessed as vaccine-related by the Investigator based on temporality. Basically, the claims of Maryanne Demasi about the new mRNA flu vaccine are simply part of the meltdown from anti-vaccine influencers pushing the idea that it is a “killer shot.”

Will you be surprised to hear that it isn’t any kind of ‘gotcha’ evidence against COVID vaccines that these guys think it is?

So what did they release?

They released a 2021 text chain between Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Rochelle Walensky, the director of the CDC, and Vivek Murthy, the Surgeon General.

A text chain in which Dr. Fauci explained why COVID vaccines should be available to pregnant women - if they want one.

A text chain in which he did mention a theoretical risk for miscarriage in the 1st trimester.

A risk for miscarriage that went from “theoretical” to “is not a risk” when further safety studies were done!

A risk that was gone by the time COVID vaccines became recommended during pregnancy, in April, 2021, (at least by CDC Director Rochelle Walensky…). At that time, a large safety report had been published that found no “obvious safety signals among pregnant persons who received mRNA Covid-19 vaccines.”

“When compared to the expected range of SABs in recognized pregnancies, these data suggest receipt of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine preconception or during pregnancy is not associated with an increased risk of SAB. These findings add to accumulating evidence that mRNA COVID-19 vaccines during pregnancy are safe.”

Next, in August, 2021, another even larger safety study also found that COVID vaccines were safe during pregnancy and the CDC formally began recommending them “for everyone aged 12 or older, including people who were pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to become pregnant, or might become pregnant.”

Since then, there have been many more studies, including one that compared vaccinated vs unvaccinated pregnant women. Not surprisingly, it found no relation between COVID vaccines and miscarriage.

Lastly, studies have found that getting a COVID vaccine actually reduced a woman’s risk of having a miscarriage!

“This systematic review and meta-analysis summarise current data on COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness and safety during pregnancy. The mRNA vaccines appear highly effective against SARS-CoV-2 in pregnancy. The incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes was not increased among vaccinated compared with unvaccinated pregnancies. In fact, the incidence of stillbirths and possibly, preterm births, was lower among the vaccinated pregnant population. Importantly, there was no increased risk of miscarriage following COVID-19 vaccination, based on data from large national registries and reports of inadvertent exposures in early pregnancy during RCTs.”

Not surprisingly, neither Senator Johnson nor Senator Paul mention any of this.

Instead, they post an open letter from James Thorp, an anti-vaccine OB-Gyn doctor who claims a vaccine safety study had an 82% miscarriage rate, even though it published a much lower rate.

How?

He miscalculates the rate after he removes all of the women who received a vaccine in their third trimester, ignoring all of the women who received their vaccine in their first trimester.

A move so bad, that Thorp couldn’t even convince other anti-vaccine influencers that it was true!

And yet, five years later, Senator Johnson and Senator Paul are republishing his error and propaganda!

Bottom line - COVID vaccines do not cause miscarriages, and Anthony Fauci helped lead us out of the COVID pandemic, despite what these folks who want to try to rewrite history are saying.

An executive order that is rooted in anti-vaccine misinformation and propaganda.

An executive order that:

• is based on a flawed scientific assessment by Tracy Beth Høeg and RFK, Jr’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in which undercounted the vaccine dose counts for other countries, all the while inflating the vaccine dose counts for the United States. Why? To make it seem like our kids get too many vaccines!

• claims that ‘Decades ago, children received only a small fraction of the vaccines required today. In those times, people were much healthier.’ - False - with fewer vaccines, we just had many more kids getting sick and dying with hepatitis A, hepatitis B, chickenpox, Hib meningitis, epiglotitis, pneumococcal disease, rotavirus, and meningococcal infections

• claims that there are no adults with autism and that “something happened in the in the mid 90s that changed our children” - False - it well known that there are many older adults with autism, including that they are a lost generation that would have even higher rates of autism if the diagnostic criteria had been the same when they were kids.

• calls for children to get fewer vaccines, losing protection against many life-threatening, vaccine-preventable diseases for no good reason

• calls for separating the MMR vaccine into three separate, single-disease shots, something that is only done in two countries - Japan and China. And even then, know that Japan is moving away from using separate vaccines and is now using the combination MMR vaccine! Oh, and after they stopped using the combined MMR vaccine, Japan ended up with a lot of mumps encephalitis, but no decrease in autism. Mostly know that this is not something we have in the United States.

• calls for children to get all vaccines during separate medical visits - to the maximum extent feasible. - the Jay Gordon immunization schedule!

• states that the United States currently recommends more childhood vaccines than any peer nation - False - Some peer nations give more vaccines and many give about the same number of vaccines, without much difference in rates of autism or SIDS, etc.

• inflates the vaccine count to 84 vaccine doses in at least 57 shots for 17 diseases

• doesn’t mention that most of our peer nations actually use combination vaccines, nor that combination vaccines have less aluminum than single shots, the adjuvant that he wants out of vaccines

And worst of all, it creates many new problems without actually fixing any of the problems we have now!

What new problems?

Well, for one thing, it calls for children to get fewer vaccines, leaving them at risk to get rotavirus, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, RSV, meningococcal disease, influenza, and COVID-19. Sure, it hides this recommendation behind the idea of individual clinical decision-making, but it makes it nearly impossible for parents to make an informed decision, as they are being bombarded with misinformation and propaganda and scared into skipping or delaying vaccines.

Also by calling for kids to get vaccines at separate visits, it delays when they will be fully vaccinated, increasing the risk that they might get sick, without adding any benefit. After all, vaccines are safe, with few serious side effects. And the only reason these folks think vaccine injuries are so common is simply because they believe that anything and everything that happens after you get a vaccine, even if it is weeks, months, or years later, must have been caused by a vaccine!

Responding to Trump’s Executive Order on Vaccines

So what does this all mean?

“Each executive department and agency shall review the Gold Standard Childhood Vaccine Recommendations and take any appropriate steps to advance them, to the fullest extent allowable by law.”

DELIVERING GOLD STANDARD CHILDHOOD VACCINE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR AMERICANS

Fortunately, right now, it doesn’t mean much of anything, beyond the fact that it is likely scaring some parents.

Remember, new vaccine policy has to go through the ACIP committee, and RFK, Jr’s antics have ensured that we don’t actually have one of those.

And thanks to the AAP, the current immunization schedule is the same as it was before RFK, Jr and Donald Trump tried to mess with it.

“A president cannot dissolve a federal court injunction by signing a different document. Judge Murphy’s March 16 preliminary injunction runs against Secretary Kennedy, HHS and CDC. Those are the parties. The President is not one of them, and he cannot direct his subordinates to do what a court has forbidden them to do.

The order acknowledges this in its own preamble, which states that implementation of the prior directives “has been delayed due to litigation over the composition of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and separate updates to the Federal vaccine schedule.” The White House drafted around the injunction rather than through it.”

What else?

Donald Trump signed this executive order in the setting of record-breaking outbreaks of measles that are getting worse…

“Today's executive order will do nothing to support families of children with autism or advance understanding of the condition. The only purpose of this announcement is to sow confusion so that more people doubt the importance of vaccines. Delaying or skipping shots is risky, especially as measles continues to spread and children go back to school.”

And when asked, Donald Trump even admitted that he misspoke when he said that the MMR vaccine was lethal!

“Mr. President I think I heard you say that the MMR vaccine is quite lethal. Is there any evidence of of that?

President Trump: No. I what I’ve heard is that there are there are some people that say it is that way and I say well let’s say there’s a 5% chance of it. Let’s split it up. Let’s split it up because they do say that given individual MMR that given individual there is no impact. In fact, they’ve said how safe it seems to be, but I’ve heard when you put them together, they can’t be explosive. ”

So basically his EO is based on something he heard from someone who might think something that is the opposite of every vaccine expert in the universe…

We can only hope that parents have learned to ignore him (after all, have you ever seen a child get a shot the size of a bottle of soda???) and are getting their kids vaccinated and protected.

Why Secretary RFK, Jr Is Responsible for Our Record Setting Measles Outbreaks

But then, why do they deny being responsible?

Not surprisingly, instead of accepting responsibility for the record-breaking measles outbreaks, Secretary RFK, Jr tries to:

• claim that he “has never questioned the efficacy of the MMR vaccine” - FALSE - Kennedy has repeatedly made false and misleading statements about MMR vaccines and measles, including that the protection from the measles vaccine wanes, that it is a leaky vaccine, and that there is some viral interference in the MMR vaccine.

• blame it on being an international outbreak - FALSE - while global measles cases are up, we have historically had relatively few cases when global measles case counts were even higher!

• claim that he is “doing better at handling it than any country in the world” - FALSE - Many countries have far fewer measles cases than the United States. In fact, last year, 160 of 182 countries had fewer measles cases than the United States, including 97 countries that had fewer measles cases per capita!

• blame the measles outbreaks on the COVID lockdowns and missed vaccinations, including young children who “should have gotten their MMR when they were 18 months and didn’t get it, they are the ones being infected.” - FALSE - kids not getting vaccinated during COVID lockdowns was a concern, but fortunately, there was a quick rebound for infants and toddlers. And although there are still gaps in vaccination rates after the pandemic, much of that is driven by an increase in vaccine hesitancy.

• claim that he has stopped the outbreaks at record speed - FALSE - The South Carolina measles outbreak ended up being the largest outbreak in the United States in 35 years. And the ongoing Utah measles outbreak has become the longest outbreak in the United States in 35 years.

Of course, none of that is true.

And it is clear that RFK, Jr is indeed responsible for our record-breaking measles outbreaks, even though he has only been Secretary of HHS since 2025.

Why?

Remember, RFK, Jr has been the most famous anti-vaccine influencer on the planet for at least the past 10 years!

Time during which he has been scaring people away from getting vaccinated and protected, by pushing misinformation and propaganda.

Misinformation and propaganda that have driven down vaccination rates and caused these outbreaks.

And as Secretary of HHS, he has done little to control or prevent them.

In fact, he dismissed many of the workers whose job is controlling these types of outbreaks.

What else?

He reduced funding to public health so that these outbreaks are harder to prevent and control.

To be fair, he isn’t the only anti-vaccine influencer responsible for our outbreaks.

There is plenty of blame to go around, from Andy Wakefield and Jenny McCarthy to Suzanne Humphries and Del Bigtree.

And all of the folks who gave him a platform to push his misinformation, including John Stossel, Joe Rogan, Sean Hannity, Dr. Phil, and Tucker Carlson, etc.

Still, RFK, Jr is uniquely positioned to stop the outbreaks, something he has not done.

And he will go down in history as being responsible for these measles outbreaks, which are far from over.

Measles outbreaks that will only end if everyone gets vaccinated and protected.

No Babies Were Aborted to Make the MMR Vaccine

The usual suspects who always seem to be at the center of every large measles outbreak these days!

In this case, we have Claudia Beiler, a wellness influencer in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the site of our latest, large measles outbreak.

“Claudia Beiler, a Lancaster mother of five and a Christian wellness influencer, said she has dropped off vitamins, coffee, and dinner for friends and others in her community who were quarantining at home.

Beiler has posted frequently to her more than 110,000 Instagram followers about her decision not to vaccinate her children. She has also offered tips about how to weather measles cases at home.”

A Christian wellness influencer who scares people away from getting vaccinated and protected by pushing misinformation and propaganda about MMR vaccines, putting them at risk to get measles and other vaccine-preventable diseases.

How?

In addition to promoting the false idea that the risks of the MMR vaccine are worse than the risks of having measles, she misrepresents the MMR vaccine’s distant association with abortion.

“It should be noted that today it is no longer necessary to obtain cells from new voluntary abortions, and that the cell lines on which the vaccines are based in are derived solely from two fetuses originally aborted in the 1960’s. From the clinical point of view, it should also be reiterated that treatment with vaccines, despite the very rare side effects (the events that occur most commonly are mild and due to an immune response to the vaccine itself), is safe and effective.”

Yes, the MMR vaccine is made using descendant cells from an abortion done in the 1960s.

But of course, the abortions weren’t done to make the vaccine.

“It should be obvious that vaccine use in these cases does not contribute directly to the practice of abortion since the reasons for having an abortion are not related to vaccine preparation.”

The Question of Parental Rights and Mandated Vaccinations

Also, the cells used today are only copies of the original cells.

In fact, the cells have been repeatedly copied.

And those copies are removed from the final MMR vaccine.

But that’s not something that Claudia Beiler mentions in any of her posts about the MMR vaccine!

Can you guess why?

None of that sounds as scary as the misinformation from other anti-vaccine influencers she launders, does it?

Not scary enough to intentionally put your kids at risk to get a life-threatening disease?!?

Not scary enough to start an outbreak in your community?!?

Plus, in saying that the risks of the MMR vaccine outweigh the risks of having measles, know that these kinds of ‘wellness’ influencers overstate vaccine risks and minimize the risks of having measles!

Stop listening to them!

Get vaccinated.

Stop the outbreaks.

Mostly they just move on to something else and hope you miss that they were wrong…

Those Times Peggy O’Mara Got It Wrong

That was certainly the case with Peggy O’Mara’s Mothering magazine!

Not only were they wrong about whooping cough, this is the magazine that featured Christine Maggiore on its cover!

She’s the HIV positive mom who infamously denied that HIV causes AIDS and refused all recommended treatments, even after she became pregnant.

“The HIV-positive mother of two laid out matter-of-factly why, even while pregnant, she hadn’t taken HIV medications, and why she had never tested her children for the virus.”

A Mother’s Denial, a Daughter’s Death

Can you predict what happened?

That’s right.

Soon after, her 3-year-old daughter, Eliza Jane Scovill, was dead of AIDS-related pneumonia. A death that could have prevented if Christine Maggiore had taken AZT during her pregnancy or had her child tested and treated.

But she did neither of those things, because Christine Maggiore didn’t believe that HIV caused AIDS - she was a vocal AIDS denialist. And neither of her pediatricians, Jay Gordon nor Paul Fleiss, had ever had her children tested.

“Fleiss, Gordon and Incao all are known for their unconventional approaches to medicine. Gordon and Incao are staunch opponents of mandatory vaccination of children; Fleiss is a vocal critic of male circumcision. Incao did not return repeated phone calls this week.”

A Mother’s Denial, a Daughter’s Death

Not surprisingly, Christine Maggiore also died a few years later.

And everyone else involved?

Well, Paul Fleiss later died, but there were no consequences for any of them.

And while Peggy O'Mara’s Mothering magazine eventually went under, it was likely killed by the coming of the internet, not because she was peddling dangerous health misinformation to new mothers.

Those Times Anti-Vaccine Influencers Got It Wrong

It should also be no surprise that many other anti-vaccine influencers have gotten things wrong over the years, especially when they promote alternative medicine that doesn’t work.

Remember Immanuel Pfeiffer?

He wrote The Fallacy of Vaccination in 1890.

He was unvaccinated and became critically ill, taking months to recover after he intentionally exposed himself to smallpox at a hospital, believing that he couldn’t get sick because he was healthy and had been fasting.

He was wrong!

Of course, he wasn’t the last anti-vaccine influencer to be wrong.

Others include:

• RFK, Jr. - has been very wrong that it is hard to kill a healthy child with a vaccine preventable disease, that there are no older adults with autism, that MMR vaccines do not offer life-long protection, that Mennonites don’t vaccinate, and a very long list of other things!

• Donald Trump - among many other things, Donald Trump is wrong that kids get over 80 vaccines, that babies get a big VAT of vaccines pumped into their bodies, and he is wrong that vaccines are associated with autism.

• Joe Rogan - is wrong when he talks about COVID, vaccines, and autism

• Kelly Brogan – she’s a holistic psychiatrist who thinks AIDS is a Big Pharma scam

• Ben Tapper – like many chiropractors, Ben Tapper doesn’t seem to think that viruses cause disease

• Larry Palevsky - says that all vaccinated children are vaccine injured and claimed that the large New York measles outbreak was a hoax.

• Paul Thomas - claimed that children had a one in a billion risk of dying from COVID and yet, over 2,000 kids have died in the United States.

• Peter McCullough - said that the Hantavirus outbreak was caused by rodents on the ship and that passengers should have been kept out of their cabins and should instead have been made to stay on the ship’s deck. He also pushed the idea that the Men B outbreak in Kent was caused by a lab leak.

• Robert O Young – a critic of vaccination, says he can cure people with cancer with his ‘pH Miracle Living‘ program because cancer is caused by excess acid – it isn’t, as Kim Tinkham found out when she progressed to having incurable breast cancer on his treatment… He also wrote a book about terrain theory…

• Robert Willner – an HIV denialist who was against the development of an HIV vaccine believed that you can prevent all disease with “diet, lifestyle changes, sanitation.” He actually injected himself with HIV and died of a heart attack the next year, despite knowing how to prevent all disease…

• Mark and David Geier – this father and son pair are infamous for pushing a chemical castration treatment (Lupron) for autistic children, a treatment that led to Mark Geier losing his medical license (he’s a geneticist) in several states. And a medical board ruling against David Geier for practicing medicine without a license.

• Jay Gordon – once made the comment that “Heaven help us if we have a generation of kids who get a hepatitis B vaccine and a HPV vaccine and they think that now unprotected sex is okay…” Not surprisingly, studies have found that this doesn’t happen. In fact, teen pregnancy rates are at their lowest levels ever.

• Suzanne Humphries – a nephrologist who became a homeopath and now pushes anti-vaccine talking points, believes that vaccines don’t work and that polio was really caused by DDT.

• Viera Scheibner – the micropaleontologist who thinks that getting a vaccine-preventable disease is good for kids, that vaccines are contaminated with amoebas, and that they cause SIDS and shaken baby syndrome

• Stephanie Seneff – an MIT doctor (she has a doctorate in electrical engineering) who thinks that half of kids will have autism by 2032 (which means that they would have been born already…) and that glyphosate causes everything from autism to school shootings and terrorist bombings.

• Tim O’Shea – a chiropractor, he speaks at anti-vax conferences and wrote an anti-vaccination book called The Sanctity of Human Blood: Vaccination is not Immunization. Dr. O’Shea does not believe that germs make us sick (germ theory denialism), thinks that vaccines cause peanut allergies, and he sells supplements and seminars.

• Andrew Wakefield – his scandal and MMR-autism fraud is well known.

• Bob Sears - said measles isn’t deadly in any developed country, neglecting to mention all of the measles deaths in the outbreaks in Europe.

• Alex Berenson - what hasn’t Alex Berenson been wrong about???

• Del Bigtree - among many other things, Del Bigtree is very wrong that there are no older adults with autism.

• Joe Mercola - what was he ever right about???

• Weston A. Price - a dentist who believed that root canals triggered disease

What else?

We know what happens to people when they listen to this kind of advice that ends up being wrong.

They can get sick, and they can die.

And that leaves us with just one question…

Why is anyone still listening to any of these folks?!?

The Real Reason the White House Is Drafting an Executive Order Linking Vaccines and Autism

Sure, maybe it is because Donald Trump has become obsessed with the idea of finding a cure for autism.

“Recent reporting indicates that the White House’s continued effort to forge a false connection between vaccines and autism is coming from Trump directly. The octogenarian reportedly wants to be remembered as the president who cured autism and believes he can achieve that by scaling back vaccines, according to reporting by The Wall Street Journal.”

That’s not the whole answer though.

Donald Trump and RFK, Jr want vaccines to be associated with autism.

Donald Trump and RFK, Jr need vaccines to be associated with autism.

It is part of the MAHA mind set of a vaccine injury epidemic.

But mostly, it is because they refuse to consider anything else that might be responsible for the increased number of children and adults getting diagnosed with autism, like the simple fact that:

• laws in the 1950s and 1960s improved educational access for disabled students, which was important as they started to move them out of institutions

• the Education for All Handicapped Children Act in 1975 stated that children with disabilities could no longer be excluded from school - which is why we didn’t see autistic kids in school before this time!

• changes in DSM criteria, which went from labeling children with autism as having childhood schizophrenia (1952) and including just three essential features of infantile autism (DSM-III 1980) to adding PDD-NOS (1987) and more subtypes and symptoms to the autism diagnosis category in DSM-IV (1994) and V (2013). This is important! Many of the autistic children today would not have been diagnosed in 1980 because they would not have met DSM-III criteria!!!

• the IDEA, in 1990, included autism as a separate disability, making it a little easier to get services - and as it became easier to get services, it increased the reason for people to get a diagnosis for their kids!

• the amending of the IDEA in 1997, with an emphasis on access to the general curriculum and giving states the authority to expand the “developmental delay” definition to also include students up to age nine

• more screening for autism, with an emphasis on early recognition, formalized in a 2007 AAP policy statement that all toddlers be screened for autism at 18 and 24 months

Which, all together, led to increased awareness and better recognition of autistic children among both parents and health care providers.

And autistic adults, a lost generation that were missed when diagnostic criteria was overly strict before the 1980s.

All of whom will be likely be hurt even more by Donald Trump’s executive order, if he actually does try to say that vaccines are associated with autism.

As will everyone else, as it will risk increasing vaccine hesitancy even more, even as measles cases are surging.
